All killing methods were strange and lot of chemical though attached to it makes it more terrifying than horror. Giving scientific reason to different black magics was some thing different. On the whole we could feel that lesser importance could have been given for sub plots and main plot could have been explained a bit more adding some more details and horror experience to it (Skilled powerful character of tharkka not completely utilized).

In the middle one feels if the story writer has lost his plot, but towards the later half of the book writer catches up with great story and awesome narration + narrating style. The books starts in full pace, but goes too sluggish in middle with too many characters introduced and kind of unnecessary travel in between. The starting of the book was really a great horror experience but the same thing could not be sustained in the later phases was a bit of let down.

On hearing good reviews on thulasi dhalam I got interest in talking this book. First time I am reading a book in horror + thriller genre and it was not a let down.
